Work Reference Request Letter

Everything you need to obtain a work reference and background employment history from current and previous employers.

• Referee nomination and declaration form (also known as a background release form, that records referee details, allows you to contact an employer, authorises the request and release of work reference and employment background information).
• Reference request letter (request background information from a current or previous employer).
• Employment background request form (includes over 30 questions about employment history, records referee responses and requests form completion and return by a specific date).

All three forms help an employer quickly, easily and legally find out about a prospective employees work history, releasing parties from reference liability and helping an employer act on any information provided by referees (including pulling back on an offer). Forms also ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act.
