WaypointHR - The Open Source HR Database
WaypointHR is a free, open source HR database designed primarily for UK, European and US employers. The software is designed from a business perspective, with easy access to the most common tasks.
Free to Use Open Source Software
The database system is provided under a free, open source licence to all users. Anyone can use it, free of charge, for whatever purpose. Anyone is free to modify or extend the system if they wish.
The application can be downloaded without charge and used by as many people as you wish. There are no purchase costs and no licence fees.
To install the software you will need a MySQL database and a web server with PHP 4 installed. This software is also freely available for download.
To use the system without installing and managing your own servers you can also use our hosted version. Your data is then stored in our secure data centre and accessed with your preferred web browser (Internet Explorer versions 6 or 7, or Firefox versions 2 or 3).

Manage Employee Records Easily and Efficiently
The database allows organisations to store essential personnel records, such as employee contact details, job description and salary. Full history is maintained, allowing the creation of reports such as previous salary history.
No Installation Required
No software needs to be installed or maintained on the desktop. A web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox) is used to access the system and fully manage employee data.
The system uses a powerful relational database for storing information (the freely available MySQL database). This can be downloaded and installed on your own servers. For a completely installation free system, you are welcome to use our servers to store your information.
