Decline flexible working letter
When declining flexible working requests, an employer must provide adequate explanation.
There is a limited number of legally acceptable reasons for declining a request from an employee for flexible working.
This letter informs an employee that their request has been refused and gives a list of reasons (from which one or more can be selected).
The letter also clearly explains an employee's legal right to appeal.
