Appeals against Grievance Decisions
Occassionally employees may not be happy with a grievance hearing decision and outcome.
If this is the case, the employee should make their employer aware of their continued grievance by appealing a grievance decision. (Employees are legally entitled to appeal grievance decisions.)
Upon receipt of a grievance appeal, an employer should hold a grievance appeal meeting with the employee to discuss the reasons why they wish to appeal against the grievance hearing decision. Following meeting with an employee, an employer should communicate a grievance appeal decision and outcome of the grievance appeal.
